Are You Hungry? See How To Order Food Directly From Facebook

I'm afraid you might terminate the contract with your cooks after seeing this new feature Facebook has for you. The popular social media platform, FB, is here with another interesting feature which will enable users order for food directly on Facebook without leaving the site.

Facebook order food

The ordered food will be delivered to your doorstep, courtesy of some services Facebook added to take care of the delivery. They include; Delivery.com, DoorDash, ChowNow, Zuppler, EatStreet, Olo, and other local restaurants.

In the introduction of this new service, Facebook posted: "Ordering food for takeout or delivery is supposed to be simple. That’s the point. But somehow it’s gotten complicated. First you need to decide what to eat, then you have to sift through a bunch of options and services."

How to Order For Food on Facebook
To order for food, just go to the Explore menu and click on Order Food. There, you will be presented with several options from which you can choose from; once you've selected what you want, select Start Order. You will also see if the restaurant in question offers takeout or delivery.

You also have the option to select the service you wish to use — the example in the blog post is that you may already have an account with Delivery.com and want to use them, or you can create a new account without leaving Facebook.

The Facebook 'Order Food' feature is currently live on FB's desktop, Android and iOS version in the US, and hopefully, it will roll out to other countries too
