iPhone And iPad Users Lament As iOS 11.0.3 Update Invites More Bugs Instead of Fixing Them

Just last week, Apple released iOS 11.0.3 which was targetted at fixing bugs. But on the contrary, the update created more bugs, taking users from frypan to fire. IPhone and iPad users who upgraded to the iOS 11.0.3 are bitterly complaining, as the update is filled with bugs that results to weak performance and poor battery life, amongst other issues.

The root of this problems can be traced right from iOS 11, and in a bid to hastily fix it, Apple rolled out 11.0.1, iOS 11.0.2, and the iOS 11.0.3 update which made it appear that iOS11 has been bug-ridden all the way.

iOS 11.0.3

The most common bug encountered is battery "draining faster," but Wandera –a security firm, took time to investigate why iOS 11 users are running on empty battery. Their finding diclosed that the average iDevice running iOS 11 lasts about 96 minutes (which is about 2 hrs). This is too poor compared to some Android devices that lasts up to 24hrs on a single charge, thus, giving Android fanboys bragging right.

Oher Issues Are:
  • stability
  • Touch ID
  • ️ Bluetooth
  • ️ Privacy
  • ️ Calendar app not working
  • ️ Homescreen time display disappears intermittently
  • ️ home button not working at intervals
  • ️ Frozen phone
  • Video recording disappears
  • ️ Unresponsive display

Similarly, a privacy bug that allows unauthorized people to access private photos on iPhones running iOS 11.0.3 was also detected.

The above screenshot is a tweet from a user who had updated to the current version in hopes of a fix. Meanwhile, Apple has been alerted via their social media accounts. So let's hope for another iOS 11.0.4 update, if it won't fry the whole iDevice.
