In recent times, WhatsApp has been releasing a lot of updates, with the most anticipated being the public roll-out of recall feature. Though, a bug was noticed on that one, as users can still read deleted messages from the reciever's end, but we trust WhatsApp to come out with a fix.
Now, more features are set released in the near future which will make WhatsApp group managing more effective. There was no specific time given for this update, but expect it next year, 2018.
But WhatsApp now will prevent the group creator from being deleted from the group by other administrators, which will further help the group creator to have the full control of the group.
If this feature is set to "only admins," a notification will appear in the group telling you that only admins can change the group info.
Once this is set, the feature can only be altered after 72hours, and only admins will be able to interact within the group while other participants can only read messages but won’t be able to reply.
This feature is important for passing announcements or for training sessions. A notification in the chat will appear that “only admin can send messages to this group."
Meanwhile, we're still expecting the group voice call feature. If this is added with the above updates, WhatsApp group will be real fun!

Have you once experienced coup de'tat on your own WhatsApp group, where you'll add someone as admin, then the person will kick you out? I've sure experienced it, and I was like "waw! misplaced trust."But WhatsApp now will prevent the group creator from being deleted from the group by other administrators, which will further help the group creator to have the full control of the group.
Subject Modification
There are some group members who just don't get tired of changing your group subject or icon. Well, the new WhatsApp update will enable administrators to choose if other participants can modify the subject of the group, its icon and its description. Checkout below Android screenshot:
