Google Go Hits Play Store, Promises Data-friendly Searches

After several months of beta testing, tech giant—Google has finally released the lite version of her search app, codenamed 'Google Go.' The app is targeted at people leaving in regions with poor network conditions, as it allows users search Google even on 2G network.

Google Go is also useful for data-conscious individuals with limited data subscription. It consumes a very little amount of data during search, and it gives users the ability to save pages offline, get notifications when search results are ready, and load "lite" versions of pages.

The app displays trending searches and featured snippets which gives summary of topics, related content to search results, and suggested topics. Google Go works well on devices with low RAM or memory, and interestingly, you can also use voice inputs for search.
