LG's 2018 Flagship to Feature Latest Snapdragon 845 Chip, Dual Camera

The very much anticipated flagship phone from LG could probably be unveiled in June. According to an undisclosed source which got hinted on the company's plans to release a smartphone with the code name "Judy," the handset will feature a big 6.1-inch screen.

It will sport a new display type called MLCD+, which will be very bright, courtesy of a white sub-pixel that will be part of the RGBW matrix. But it uses up 35% less energy than a regular IPS LCD screen. The phone will also have a case that meets military specs, similar to the LG V30, and stereo speakers will adorn the model.

In terms of performance, the phone may come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage, along with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset carrying an octa-core CPU and the Adreno 630 graphic processor. For image duties, there will be a dual camera setup of 13MP + 13MP sensor both with f/1.6 apertures), and the phone will boast of IP68 certification rating meaning it can survive under 5-feet of water for up to 30-minutes.
