Nokia 8 Sirocco is a Fine Upgrade to the Standard Nokia 8

Nokia 8 Sirocco posses as an upgrade to the regular Nokia 8 which was launched last year. It comes with improved specifications and features such as a bigger 5.5-inch p-OLED display at 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, with 16:9 aspect ratio and Gorilla Glass 5 for protection against screen cracks and scratches.

In terms of photography, Nokia 8 Sirocco features a pair of 12 megapixel camera at the back, equipped with LED flssh, along with a 5MP front-facing shooter for selfies and video chat. The phone is adorned with a Stainless Steel frame as against the aluminium build on the standard model, and it drops IP54 splash resistance for IP67 water and dust resistance.

Under the hood is 2.5GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 processor, paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB of expandable inbuilt storage. The device runs Android 8.0 Oreo straight from the box, and it uses a non-removable 3260mAh battery with QuickCharge 4, support which boosts it from 0 to 50% charge in 30 minutes. The fingerprint scanner is embedded on the screen.

Nokia 8 Sirocco will be available for purchase by April 2018 with a price tag of about €749, which is around N328,000 in Nigeria.
