Two Years old Huawei P9 and P9 Plus to Receive Android Oreo Update

Few weeks after Huawei P9 received an update that added a number of camera improvements, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is planning to release Android 8 Oreo to this handset and to its improved version—the Huawei P9 Plus. Well, it seems Huawei P9 and P9 Plus might receive the highly-anticipated update, as one official from the company disclosed that both devices will soon get Android Oreo updates, based on EMUI 8.0. If this statement proves to be true, then this will be the last major Android OS update Huawei P9 and Huawei P9 Plus will receive, therefore, you shouldn't expect the upcoming Android P on them.

Meanwhile, the Huawei official did not state any timeframe for the roll out of the update, but hopefully, it will happen this year. So, owners of these devices should enjoy it while they can before Huawei finally shut all update doors on them.
