How Triada Works

Triada will root any device it has affected, making it nearly impossible for you to get rid of it without reinstalling the operating system. The virus is designed with a focus to steal the victim's banking information and other private info inputted in the phone. As stated in the report, the key feature of Android.Triada.231 is that cybercriminals inject this Trojan into the libandroid_runtime.so system library.

Manufacturers Hand in This

Viruses like Triada are introduced mostly by third party software developers who inject malware alongside the applications that come with the phones. But since this one is already active right from the factory, phone manufacturer should be blamed for failure to test their devices before shipping them.

Going by reports, “This [software development] company provided Leagoo with one of its applications to be included into an image of the mobile operating system, as well as with an instruction to add third-party code into the system libraries before their compilation.”

As you can see from the list above, Leagoo is the most affected brand, and our homeboy Tecno (W2) is surprisingly struck by this virus. The only way to get rid of Triada Banking Trojan is to install a new software.
