So far this year, HMD Global has released three smartphones, namely; the Nokia 6 (2018), Nokia 8 Sirocco and the Nokia 8110 4G (banana phone). Now, the Finnish company is preparing to launch another new device which will likely be called “Nokia X.”

The upcoming Nokia X is set to be officially announced on April 27, where ads suggesting its introduction has been circulating in China. The image above is one of the teasers, allegedly showing the render of the new smartphone forming an X. But this (and others below), unfortunately, doesn't reveal much details and specs of the yet-to-be-announced phone.
However, according to rumours, the Nokia X will come in two variants of 4GB and 6GB of RAM, and either powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon or MediaTek processors. Furthermore, there might be no iPhone X competition, as it is reported (and unconfirmed) that Nokia X could be a mid-range smartphone. But this might be true judging by the fact that after Microsoft acquired the Nokia's phone division back in 2014, they released a number of Android handsets called Nokia X with low-end specs, but it didn't get much customers. So maybe this time, they decided to upgrade, who knows?
Apparently, it's also not clear if this handset will be made exclusive to the Asian market, or whether it'll ship globally to other countries. In addition, it's worth noting that unlike the iPhone X, the “X” in this Nokia phone name stands for ex, and not for ten.
