For smooth multitasking, OnePlus 6 will come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage. Though, there may be other variants with less memory space, OnePlus didn't make mention of it.

The device will sport a 6" display, offering the highest screen-to-body ratio of 90 percent with a notch on top; but it has been confirmed that you will be able to hide the notch. According to CEO Pete Lau:
“At the time we decided against adding this feature. We wanted to focus all of our time and resources on delivering an exceptional full-screen experience... Recently many users have raised interest in having a black-out function. We respect your feedback, and would like to give everyone the ability to choose. This function will enable you to black out the background of the notifications and status bar. It will be added in a future software update released after the launch of the OnePlus 6.”

Meanwhile, OnePlus 6 will be a bit more expensive than its predecessor—the OnePlus 5T, with the price starting at over $500. Furthermore, the device is rumoured to feature 3.5mm audio jack, USB-C port, an external speaker grille, notification LED, proximity and ambient sensors. A vertically aligned dual camera and a fingerprint will likely be present at the back, along with a single selfie snapper.

The launch has been slated for late June. While marketing campaign has kicked off already, it may be released sooner rather than later.
