Airtel 4G LTE network has now been released in Abuja, coming just few weeks after it was launched in Lagos, Ogun and Oyo state. You can tell that subscribers are really enjoying this Airtel 4G because so far, there have been no complaint whatsoever about it, unlike other telco's. The telco giant took to its social media pages to announce this big new, saying: “Abuja, now you are covered with 4G that works! Go to your nearest Airtel center and swap your SIM to a 4G SIM to enjoy our seamless 4G LTE service!

Airtel held an event today at the International Conference Centre Abuja, for the launch of its 4G service in the city. It's worth noting that the service is currently active for users in Wuse2, Maitama, Garki, Asokoro, and other areas (image below). Also, don't forget Airtel is dishing out free 4GB data and 25% data bonus for subscribers who switch to Airtel 4G.
Airtel's 4G LTE which runs on Band 3 – 1800MHz with a Download speed of of 28.45 Mbps and 8.77 Mbps Upload speed is achieved as a partnership between Airtel and Chinese multinational giant—ZTE.

Simply walk into any Airtel shop and request a sim swap for you to access Airtel 4G LTE services.
