BlackBerry has made it clear that the KEY2—the next smartphone to carry its brand name will be officially launched on June 7. Apart from disclosing this date, the Canadian company didn't reveal any other detail concerning the phone, although the specs has leaked few times online so you have an idea of what to expect from TCL Communication, the company manufacturing the smartphone.
Another good news is that BlackBerry has announced to open a BlackBerry KEY2 pop-up showroom in NewYork city a day after the phone becomes official, and will run from June 8 – 9. This will enable consumers who want to be among the first in the world to experience the KEY2 check it out at this pop-up showroom that will be open for two days
There is currently no information whether the BlackBerry KEY2 pop-up showrooms will be opened in other cities across the world, as the announcement suggests NYC will be the only place where the smartphone will be showcased to the public.
