The Moto Z3 Play will likely sport a 6-inch AMOLED display at 1080 x 2160 (FHD+) resolution, and an 18:9 aspect ratio. It has been rumoured that the phone will be one of the thinnest premium phones to be unveiled this year. In terms of performace, there is Snapdragon 636 mobile platform that clocks at a speed of 1.8GHz, carrying an octa-core CPU and Adreno 509 GPU for excellent graphics.

Moto Z3 Play is expected to come with 4GB RAM along with 32 or 64GB of native storage. For image duties, a dual camera setup is on the back, and the handset uses a 3000mAh battery to keep the lights on. It is important to know that the phone runs Android 8.1 pre-installed and not Android P because of its pill shaped navigation bar at the bottom of the screen. Though we saw a similarly shaped bar in the second developer preview for Android P, but this one on the Moto Z3 Play is just something that Motorola cooked up for its version of Android 8.1.

It won't be long before the Moto Z3 is launched, then we can get full specs and more details on its pricing and availability. Also expect more info on the 5G Moto Mod.
