New Update Hits Microsoft Edge Browser for Android and iOS Devices

A new update is now available for Microsoft Edge browser which was launched late last year for Andriod and iOS devices. This new update adds new features and improvements, while it bumps the app to version 42.0.0.2025 for Android phones, and version 42.1 for Apple iPhone and iPad devices.

For iOS users, the changelist includes an improved Hub design, the traditional performance enhancements, and there is a way to display shortcut keys on an iPad, which is by simply pressing the command key on a keyboard attached to an iOS tablet, and then the available shortcut keys will appear on the screen.

Additionally, and thanks to this latest update, you can now sync Microsoft Edge browser from the desktop to your mobile device which will enable you continue browsing on your smartphone from where you stopped on the PC version of Edge. Everything is synced; including Passwords, content and favorites.

On the other hand, the Android version of the Microsoft Edge browser is also getting updated with support for Microsoft family accounts. Adults with such an account can block certain websites for their kids not to visit, and decide which ones they can using Microsoft Edge for Android.

iPhone and iPad users should head straight to TestFlight app to update the app. Meanwhile, if you haven't installed the app before, you can download Microsoft Browser for iOS devices here. Android users can update or install theirs via Google Play Store here.
