Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 Benchmark Listing Reveals Cool Specs

Samsung is currently working on a new Galaxy Tab S4, which is set to be the upgraded version to last year's Galaxy Tab S3. Rumours of the device first surfaced in February this year, but it has already been confirmed that it is real and likely to be unveiled very soon.

In addition, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 has been spotted in a benchmark listing with model number SM-T835, where some of its hardware specs were revealed. However, since the Korean company will launch at least two variants of this tablet (Wi-Fi only, LTE), there may be another assigned model number (SM-T830). In terms of performance, the listing shows the Galaxy Tab S4 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor under the hood, paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory, while running Android 8.1 Oreo pre-loaded.

That is how much detail we got from Geekbench, but according to rumors, Samsung's upcoming tablet is expected come with a large 10.5-inch display at 1600 x 2560 pixels resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio. For image duties, a 12-megapixel rear camera will likely be featured, plus an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter for selfies. The slab will probably have a fingerprint scanner, but it is unclear where it will be placed.

There is no word concerning the official launch date of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4, but it has been strongly linked to be introduced along with the upcoming Galaxy Note 9 later this summer, just before IFA 2018 trade fair.
