A small number of Samsung branded smartphones already received Android 8.0 Oreo updates, but there are still a lot that are yet to get it. Most of the devices from this South Korean company that haven't gotten Android 8.0 Oreo update belongs to the mid-class, no wonder they decided to leave them last.
Samsung Turkey is one of the channels that disseminate information about upcoming Android OS updates, and they've just announced a range of Samsung handsets that will receive Android 8.0 Oreo. Apart from the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge that got the update at the beginning of this month, there are many Samsung phones that are set to get the update in the coming month.
Staring from July 6, Samsung Galaxy A3 2017, Galaxy A5 and A7 2017 would get android 8.0 Oreo updates as reported by the same source. It will be followed by the Galaxy J3 (SM-J330F), Galaxy J5 Pro, and Galaxy J7 Pro which should receive the same update from July 13.
Even though this information is related to the Turkish market, once these updates are out in a country, they will gradually move to more territories in the following weeks. Stay tunes for more details in the future.
