The Samsung Note 9 is the latest victim, where the counterfeit model is already seen, dressed in the 3 color variants that the original is expected to sport (black, gold and blue). In addition, the UI looks the same, but the wallpaper gives it away as it still looks like those from Note 8.
Meanwhile, the build of the phone is the most apparent giveaway, as you’ll notice that it's even thicker than the Note 8 and doesn’t quite showcase the edged screen that Samsung devices are famous for. The camera at the back also does not seem right.
The main point here now is to be careful when going for new phones, because as time goes by, more and more of these counterfeit device from various bootleg manufacturers will be released.
