Huawei to Launch its own Gaming Phone; Ready to Battle Samsung

After rotating CEO Eric Xu talked about 5G devices few days ago, it looked like 2019 will be a very interesting time for Huawei. But that's not all the Chinese company has up in its sleeves. Actually, the coming year for Huawei looks set to accompany some wonderful launches.

Huawei P20 and P20 Pro

Late last month, Huawei showcased its latest GPU Turbo technology which is able to increase the efficiency on different types of smartphones when gaming. But according to the company's President Jim Xu, the brand is now set to develop a dedicated gaming phone which will better utilize the software and would be available by the end of the year, though it's uncertain what specs it will carry.

Fast forward into the coming year, the company has previously stated that the first 5G-enabled device will be launched in June 2019, but Xu also recently announced Huawei's intentions to compete with Samsung by releasing its own fodable device. Meanwhile, no particular time was stated concerning the coming of its foldable device, however, considering Samsung's model is speculated to arrive in February, Huawei should also unveil theirs around the same period also.
