New Do Not Disturb Feature Coming Soon to Facebook and Instagram

The latest feature to surface is the Do Not Disturb feature that is being tested for both Instagram and Facebook. This feature allows you to block all notifications from the apps for 30 minutes, an hour, two hours, the whole day or for as long as you want until you switch it back on manually. In addition, other options such one to turn off sound and vibrations will be released alongside the DND feature.

We do not know whether everyone or only a selected group of users will be able to access this new feature. This is similar to YouTube's Remind me to take a break feature which practically does what it's called, but these features are quite weird because they give users the option to stop using the app.

Another feature that we expect to see is the one where you can see how much time you are spending on the Instagram and Facebook app.
