What is Wrong With Facebook? Over 1 Million Active Users Gone

With so many new features added here and there, believe it or not, Facebook just lost 1 million active users. The loss in users is largely associated with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation, after millions of users' data were illegally collected by Cambridge Analytica.

Actually, this is the first time Facebook lost such a substantial amount of users, and it has made people to start wondering whether the social media giant will soon end up like 2go. Even though Facebook already has 2.2 billion active users, seeing a million people leave the platform will surely have a negative effects on the company.

So many of these run-away users now use Instagram and Twitter. And Facebook, in an attempt to make young ones return to its platform, have rolled out a new feature called the “Watch Party.” The feature allows users to watch live or recorded videos together and also post comments as they watch.

Meanwhile, Facebook don't need to worry too much since it's still the owner of Instagram. But is this Watch Party feature enough to save Facebook from its dwindling state?
