MTN NG subscribers can now calculate the amount of data they spend on online activities, thanks to the newly introduced MTN data calculator. This is coming just few days after Glo launched its own data calculator service. So we're waiting for 9Mobile and Airtel to join the bandwagon.
The MTN data calculator is intended to interact with the subscribers so that their consumption pattern can be determined. With the help of the calculator, you would be able to estimate how much data that you will consume at the end of the month. This would help you when you are making your budget for the month.
According to MTN, a minute of surfing the net amounts to 1MB and a minute on social media platforms like Twitter or Instagram equates to 4MB.
