Just last month, MultiChoice announced beginning from the 1st of August 2018 that there will be increase in subscription price for their DStv and GOtv packages.

New GOtv Price as at August 2018
- Gotv Max N3,200 (formerly 3,800)
- GOtv Plus N1,900
- Gotv Value N1,250
- GOtv Lite N400
New DStv Price Effective From August 2018
- DStv Compact Plus has been increased to ₦10,650 from
N9,900 - DStv Compact ₦6,800 (formerly N6,300)
- DStv Family ₦4,000 (formerly N3,800)
- DStv Access ₦2,000 (formerly N1,900)
