100% Working Method On How To Use Airtel 2G Data Plans On 3G Network

Hi, I'm talking about using the 2gb for N200 & 6gb for N500 airtel 2G data plans on 3G network/devices in this post. The previous method I posted brought in tons of negative comments as most you said it wasn't working. But with the new method, you'll be able to enjoy your airtel 2G data plans on a 3G network without rooting your device, neither using any VPN/tunneling softwares.

I made this post kind-of late all for the sake of confirmation. I don't want a case where you'll complain it didn't work, i wasted your airtime... (stuffs like that) NO!

If supposedly you're new to this airtel plan, it was actually meant for 2G devices only, but with the below method, you'll be able to use it on your 3G device.

HOW TO USE AIRTEL 2G DATA PLANS ON 3G NETWORK/DEVICE
  1. Firstly, subscribe to either the 2gb for N200 or 6gb for N500 airtel data plans by dialing *482#.
  2. Then set your phone network to 2G Mode. (The way to set this up varies on different phones, but if you can't, i advice you to enter Mobofree & sell your phone :) )
  3. Now browse for like 30 seconds on the 2G Mode. (open a site like google.com or techpaded.com that will load fast.)
  4. You can now put your phone back to 3G mode and your airtel 2GB for N200/6GB for N500 will start working on 3G.


NOTE: If the browsing stops working on 3G mode, simply repeat the above steps and you're good to go!

    It is not a cheat, but an official airtel data plan made specially for 2G Devices. So, if your phone has 2G/EDGE, then you have no problem with the plan.
