Firefox Quantum Browser: Faster Than Chrome, Uses 30% Less Memory

Few months back, Mozilla dropped hints on how the new version of her browser—dubbed 'Firefox Quantum,' would be twice as fast and 30% lighter than Google Chrome.

The beta test of the new Firefox Quantum web browser was successful, and Mozilla claims that the new browser will not only outpace Chrome, but beats it in terms of memory use. Google's Chrome is arguably one browser that uses a lot of RAM, especially once you start adding-up tabs. Firefox claims that Quantum will be able to handle an equal amount of load while using 30 percent less memory than Chrome.

Quantum only uses 30% lesser RAM and open pages with lightning speed. The web browser also boast of an amazing feature the enables it quickly search using any search engine you want. As you type a query in the address bar, Quantum displays instant results, and also show buttons for various engines. Meanwhile, Google remains Quantum's default search.
