The company claims they've been working on Red cheetah for the past 2 years, and now happy it’s ready for the public. Swift Networks was able to pull this off as a result of its partnership with several brands to serve ads to users on the Red Cheetah platform, I.e, you have to watch adverts in order to continue browsing free.

The idea behind Red Cheetah is to offer users unlimited access to the internet, but since this is the early stage of this service, it will take some time for it to be unlimited. So for now, Red Cheetah is capped at 1GB data daily per device, and you can register as much devices every day.

Red cheetah is currently available in about 500 locations, which includes 500 buses, 50 restaurant and 2 malls in public spots, BRT buses and taxis. Hopefully, it will spread out to 10,000 locations within Lagos state. The latter was chosen as a branch test locations and with time, it will be extended to other states. Meanwhile, it's important to note that browsing can only be accessed in areas where modems are available.

To get started with the free browsing, download RED Cheetah app via Google Play Store for Android and sign up. The Windows and iOS version will be available by June.
