Now, the tech giant is working to bring Smart Reply on third-party chat applications like WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Twitter, etc.
An email sourcing testers for this new project which is now dubbed “Reply” has been sent out by Area 120, a division of Google that works on experimental products. A sceeenshot in the email shows Reply working within Google Hangouts and Android Messages, suggesting replies to questions like “Are you at the restaurant?” or “When can you be home?”
The user's current location and other factors helps with crafting the correct response – like a “yes” or “no” if you’ve arrived somewhere. Reply can be shown directly in the message's notification for an instant response. ke
