The plan of http://facebook.com to integrate SMS & MMS into its messenger has been pending for quite a while.
The uplifting news now is that 'it is available' for android facebook messenger users! But there are some conditions/prerequisite applied before you can utilize this service.
CONDITIONS BEFORE USING FACEBOOK SMS & MMS:
1. You must be a Facebook beta analyzer
2. The most recent version of the application (64.0.0.10.83) must be installed on your device.
Once you've met the requirements, open FB Messenger and head to the Settings (far right), tap SMS, and switch on the element.
As this is the first time of doing this, you'll get a prompt to set Messenger as your default SMS application
Messenger will synchronize all
your SMS and MMS messages,
then coordinate them into your discussion list. You can recognize Messenger and
instant messages with shading; the previous in blue, the last in purple.
You can also explore Facebook Messenger special elements
like stickers, voice update,
thumbs up and parcels as instant messages.
