How To Create Your Own Adslot In Mywapblog

Welcome to techpaded my fellow bloggers, a lot of you guys have been asking me how I created my own Mywapblog Adslot, but I was like it's not something I can discuss on phone. However, I've summoned courage and decided to give an explicit explanation about how this is done!

For those who still don't know what I am talking about, then the below images will offer more understanding. I'm about to teach you how to create a clickable image/text in the header of your mywapblog site, follow me.

Earlier today, I announced on facebook that i'll drop this tutorial by 8:00pm, but it got delayed because of 1 or 2 things. I apologise for that.

BASIC CONSIDERATIONS
Before you can create your own adslot, there are some things you should consider.
1. The browser & screen size your blog readers mostly use: The reason I said this is because this adslot works properly on an average screen size and only on operamini browser. So if most of your blog readers uses very wide screen devices or probably UC Browser, then this post will be of no use to you!

2. It Varies Depending On Your Initial Theme: I created this adslot specifically for my own theme(css). So if you tend to use it on another theme, you'll have to make some adjustments, because of css position which we are making use of.

No need to be frightened if you don't understand some words here, it's quite easy though. My advice is just for you not to skip any line or paragraph in this post.

HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN MYWAPBLOG ADSLOT
We'll make use of content:before, div class element and most importantly, css positioning.

FIRST STEP
content-before.jpg

So, navigate to dashboard ->theme -> click edit, then paste this:

Looking at the above image, the part marked in red color is the css positioning. And like i said earlier, those who aren't using my theme will have to adjust it. We are coming to that.

SECOND STEP
Paste this div class element also in your css:

LASTLY
Now go to your navigation menu and paste this:

(remove the *)And that's all. The banner/image link you put in this above code will now show in the header of your blog and that's all. But only 468 x 60 banners. If you want another size, you'll have to change the css positioning.

CSS POSITION
ad-div-class-element.jpg
For those that aren't using my theme, you'll need to adjust that top:270px until it fits your screen very well. You can change it to top:290px or any number, but make sure it fits your screen. (use the preview button to be checking after every change).

You won't need to go through all these stress in the future because mywapblog told me they'll give its users total control of where to put ads. I have a lot of blogging tips to share with you guys, and as from today, i'll start dropping them. so kindly scroll down & follow my blog.

    @Badooski,
The codes are in the post above! The first two should be pasted in themes, why the 3rd one should be pasted in navigation menu.
