Facebook Market Place Feature - Buy & Sell Items

New features keep rolling out on facebook every time; some noticeable, while other aren't. Once again, Facebook introduces its own online market place where you can buy and sell various items to people within your community.

Facebook Market place feature enable users to sell, bargain and buy items directly through Facebook's mobile app. You can access this feature through a button in the bottom of the ap (this replaces the Messenger icon).


Over 450 million people already use Facebook to buy and sell used goods every month, mainly through its groups feature, say Facebook project manager - Bowen Pan. So Facebook is now officially making these trade formal and more secured with MarketPlace.

If you're above 18 years old in the US, UK, Australia, and New Zealand, Facebook Marketplace feature is open for you. Though it will rollout to other countries soon.

To use this feature, simply follow the steps below:
1. Upload a photo of your item.
2. Enter the name, description and price of the product.
3. Select your location for delivery purposes and select a category, then Post.

Facebook MarketPlace might reduce users of Jiji, OLX and Efritin and some other online market places in Nigeria! What do you have to say about this?
