The latest Android 8.0 Oreo has started rolling out to OnePlus 3 closed beta group via OTA. This is quite amazing, as the update - which is about 800MB in size - came sooner than expected.

Though this device didn't make the list of smartphones to receive Android Oreo update, all OnePlus 3 users in the closed beta group can now enjoy the features of Android 8.0, and it seems more frequent uodates are yet to come.
However, this Android O update accompanied so many bugs:
1) NFC isn't functional yet
2) WiFi is buggy
3) Hotspot and Bluetooth is unstable, etc.
Roll out plans for the stable build is ongoing by the Chinese smartphone maker, OnePlus, and it is expected to be released by mid-September.
Meanwhile, OnePlus 3 won't be the only device to taste Oreo, other phones from the brand expected to get the update are the OnePlus 3T and 5 closed beta groups. With the same Time-frame of oneplus 3 (mid-September) for their respective stable builds.
