Android 7.0 Nougat Update Hits Samsung Galaxy C7

A firmware update which accompanies Android 7.0 Nougat has been released to Samsung Galaxy C7 via OTA. The update started first in China and a user have shared screenshot showing details of the changelog with other information—all in Chinese.

Users of the Galaxy C7 phone can now enjoy features of Android 7.0 Nougat if they upgrade via OTA, which is sized at 1142 MB. Other improvements include Always-On Display, Multi-window, and the Settings menu.

The update will also make apps on Samsung Galaxy C7 to install faster and will be more power-efficient as soon as the Nougat update is installed. Samsung also added a new security patch to the update.

Meanwhile, all Gear IconX users are requested check if related apps are compatible with the upgrade and ensure they make a back-up in case something goes wrong.
