Users of Google's flagship phones— Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, have reportedly encountered different issues —at different stages— while using the phone. Now, the latest problem said to be affecting this device is the mic not working.
So many users lamented that the phone's microphone won't function in some critical scenarios, like during a call or while using Assistant. And this problem has caused the creation of a new thread at Google's Product Forums.
The company is currently in the process of collecting bug reports hopefully to provide a fix to it. But in the meantime, here is a temporary fix/solution to Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL not working.
It worked of course! There were a lot of videos and comments by users, who confirmed that the solution works.
You can use the above method while we wait untill Google releases a permanent solution to this problem. Kindly share and tell us how it went.

Solution
The easy way to fix this is by blowing into the bottom speaker. This was discovered by some users of the Pixel devices who later shared with the rest of the community how they were able to resolve the problem.
