TStv and Bein Continues Battle Over Right to Broadcast EPL Contents

So far so good, the TStv test transmission has been positive and everything has been working fine; with clear channels, quality broadcasting, and more. Meanwhile, if you didn't get one of the TStv free decoders, you can still test the free to air channels.

To do this, make sure your TV has an inbuilt decoder or you have Strong, Qsat, Dsat, HD decoders or any other decoders that has free to air channels. Now scan and track ABS 3A and you will receive TSTV on Freq: 11052, (V), S/R: 30,000 free to air. You can now test the transmission in your location.

Back to the topic of today. If you recall few weeks ago, TStv was accused of content piracy by Bein, but the new satelite TV was quick to respond and prompted fans to disregard rumours.

However, something ridiculous happened yesterday, 29 seconds to the commencement of arsenal vs ZVE football match, a message appeared on our screen stating the followings:
“CA Error! YOU ARE VIEWING BEIN SPORTS CONTENT ILLEGALLY VIA TSTV IN NIGERIA”

And immediately after this, the screen went blank and there was another message that stayed for a while before TSTV wiped it out. The second message read thus:
To view this content, please contact us on: Algeria: 098240…

In case you don't know, BeIN is a global sports and entertainment group which provides a subscription television service to more than 50 million customers worldwide.

As expected, the ABS Global operated-company—TStv, took to their twitter page to announce that their system was hacked and will be fixed soon. But I'm beginning to ask questions; is TStv truly infringing BeIN's property? Or is this the work of enemies of progress? Because in the last FAQ section, TStv also disregarded rumours of dissagrement with BeIN management.
