The fourth largest telco network operator in Nigeria—9Mobile has released a new internet plan which offers a total of 6.8GB (5.5GB plus free 1.3GB data) for N4000. At least, 9Mobile can rival MTN with this plan, but they are still no match to Airtel, talkless of Glo.
Though MTN does not have a 4K plan, but N3500 gives you 5GB. To me, it's better to just add N500 and enjoy 9Mobile's 6.8GB—with a difference of 1.8GB. Airtel offers 9GB data, while the grand masters of data, Glo, doles out a whooping 24GB (unfair advantages) for the same N4000.
However, you can't compare the browsing speed of 9Mobile to some other networks, especially Glo—in some areas they're fast, but in others, it's a tragedy. 9Mobile circulated a text message concerning the new data plan, which reads:
"Buy 5.5GB data at N4000 & get FREE 1.3GB data valid for 14days. Unlock FREE data when you buy 1GB data or more within 30days. Dial *229*2*36# Valid/30days."
