There'll be no Fingerprint Scanner on Oppo A83

Chinese OEM—Oppo Electronics is set to launch a mid-range device, dubbed 'Oppo A83.' The phone sports 5.7-inch IPS LCD display at 720 x 1440 pixels resolution, with 18:9 aspect ratio. Oppo A83 has an aluminum body with front glass, two colour options of black and gold, and a futuristic look courtesy of it FullView display.



For image duties, Oppo A83 will feature a 13 megapixels rear camera with LED flash, and 8MP front-facing shooter for selfies and video chat. The smartphone is reportedly fueled by a non-removable 3090mAh battery, while other specifications includes: 4G LTE, dual SIM, Bluetooth 4.2, USB microUSB 2.0. But NO fingerprint sensor.

In terms of performance, Oppo A83 will come with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, alongside up to 256GB MicroSD card support. The phone will likely be powered by Mediatek MT6763T Helio P23 chipset which clocks at 2.5Ghz, and runs Android 7.1 Nougat straight from the box.
