Asus ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 5 Lite have been confirmed to be officially unveiled on the 27th of February at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 event. According to a leaked live picture, the ZenFone 5 will sport a notch like that of the iPhone X, which will be called “lip.” It will accommodate the front camera, earpiece and other sensors.

Still following the trend, the smartphone will feature a display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Asus ZenFone 5 is expected to come with a dual-camera setup and a fingerprint sensor at the back, running Android 8.0 Oreo straight from the box, with USB Type-C and 3.5mm audio port support.

In terms of design, the Asus ZenFone will sport a glass and aluminum body. The handset will be produced in two variants, including a dual-SIM model.
