Security Flaw hits Microsoft Edge Browser

Microsoft Edge, a well known computer browser which was made available for Android and iOS devices late last year has been struck with a medium security flaw all these while. The privacy and data of users are seriously at risk, as cyber-terrorists could bypass Microsoft Edge's existing security measures to inject malicious code into a victim's computer with the presence of such vulnerability.

This flaw discovered by Google Project Zero and they immediately alerted Microsoft in November 2017, giving them the usual 90-day disclosure deadline. However, the company didn't seem too interested with little or no work done to close it up.

The 90 days disclosure has now elapsed and Project Zero, a team of security analysts employed by Google whose job is to find zero-day vulnerabilities, has made the details of the security flaw publicly known so users of the browser can protect themselves. The best thing to do now is to stay away from Microsoft Edge till the company solves its problem.
