Though, HTC published the update files a month later, Android Oreo wasn't pushed OTA (over the air) to HTC 10 devices. Well, the good news now is that reports have been going round about a lot of unlocked HTC 10 owners receiving the very-much-anticipated Oreo update.

The update weighs in at 1.32GB as stated in the changelog, and come with some other system improvements besides Android 8.0 Oreo. So, make sure you have enough storage space, your battery is fully charged and you're connected to a Wi-Fi network before installing the update.

Since this Android 8.0 Oreo update for unlocked HTC 10 is a staged roll-out, it's okay if you haven't received the update yet, as it take up to a week or more to propagate to everywhere in the States.
