Xiaomi is set to launch the Mi Mix 2s which stands as an upgrade to last year's Mi Mix 2. We've earlier seen leaked renders and rumoured specs of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s. Now, going by a tweet by the company's global spokesman Donovan Sung, the launch date is slated for March 27th and the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 845 mobile platform, thus, confirming the leaks.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s is expected to sport a 5.99-inch FullView display, designed with a four-sided ceramic body. Previous rumors suggests that the smartphone will pack a massive 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM along with 256GB of high speed UFS storage. It will feature a pair of (dual) 12MP rear cameras for images and videos duties, with an "under-the-display" fingerprint scanner.
The handset scored 273,741 on the AnTuTu benchmark test, showing how powerful it is driven by the Snapdragon 845. It even beat the 265,267 score of 2018's flagship Samsung Galaxy S9+ which is also powered by the same chipest. 4G LTE will be present on the Mi Mix 2s.
