It is expected of HTC to launch its first and probably the only flagship of the year by early May. That should be HTC U12+, but we're not ruling out the possibilities of getting the HTC U12 first. Now, a bunch of live pictures showing off the upcoming smartphone have surfaced at a Taiwan-based company that deals in manufacturing screen protectors.

The images suggests that the HTC U12 looks thinner than its predecessor, the U11+, but that might be just an optical illusion. However, the render once again confirms that this flagship will come equipped with a dual-camera setup and a fingerprint sensor placed on the back. Also, the company has made a decision not to follow the notch trend - almost everyone is uncomfortable with it.
As for the specs, the handset will sport a 6" display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. It'll be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. The HTC U12 will likely feature a 3420 mAh battery and a pair of 8MP front-facing selfie cameras.
