Thanks to this update, OnePlus added a new touch gesture for both smartphones, which will allow users to double-tap to lock the screen. You can access this feature in the launcher settings, then enable it once you install the update. Others includes improvements in terms of performance and bug fixes.
Additionally, this open beta in particular will bring enhancement to searched history for App drawer and it'll also optimize how large files are scanned. But it's important to note that there are bound to be some bugs in this beta build, so it may not be as stable as the final version of the update.
This update is now available, weighing in at about 1.6GB for OnePlus 5 and 5T smartphones without an OxygenOS beta build. It should weigh lesser for models with this UI installed.
