Infinix Zero 5 was launched in November last year, and there's a big news to all its owners, as in less than 5 months, the smartphone has received a new software update which adds new features, fixes and many functions which includes gesture navigation and face unlock. This comes just few months after Infinix Hot S3 also got its own face unlock functionality via Over-The-Air (OTA) update.

As you can see, the physical home button has been ditched so you can operate your Infinix Zero 5 just by swiping the screen left or center to enter Recent or Launcher. There are couple of other gestures to multitask, go back, and carry out other navigations.
On the other hand, the Face Unlock function added to the Zero 5 phone courtesy of this new software update helps users to unlock their phone screen just by looking into the front-facing camera. Simply enroll Face Unlock because it's really fast and you won't need to cram any pattern or password to unlock your device anymore. There is also a Face Fill Light feature which will brighten your face to unlock in a dark environment.
This software update has started rolling out, you should receive it soon if you haven't already. Otherwise go to your Android Settings > About Phone > System Upgrade > click “Download Update.” Please make sure your Infinix Zero 5 is not rooted, your battery is fully charged and you're connected to the internet (WiFi preferably) before installing the update.
