Samsung Reveals Specs of the Galaxy A6 and A6+ on its Official Website

Samsung is set to launch two new smartphones called the Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+. These mid-rangers will probably be released in Asia before being made available in other countries, but the United States in an unlikely destination for these handsets. The Samsung Galaxy A6 and A6+ were recently listed on the conpany's official website, disclosing most of their features ans specs. What's left to find out now is the release data and price, but even without thinking twice, we should know that the Galaxy A6 will be the cheapest of the two.

According to details published on Samsung's website, the Galaxy A6 will sport a 5.6-inch Super AMOLED FullView display at 1480 x 720 pixels HD+ resolution and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. On the other hand, the Galaxy A6+ comes with a larger 6-inch Super AMOLED Infinity display with FHD+ (2220 x 1080 pixels) resolution and the same aspect ratio (18.5:9). Both smartphones feature Dolby Atmos support and rear-mounted fingerprint sensors.



For image duties, Samsung Galaxy A6 has a 16-megapixel camera at the rear and front, while the Galaxy A6+ boasts of a dual-camera setup of 16MP+5MP, and another 24-megapixel front-facing shooter for selfies and video chat. Both are equipped woth front-facing LED flash. To keep the lights on, Galaxy A6 and A6+ uses 3000mAh and 3500mAh batteries respectively, while both smartphones runs Android 8.1 Oreo straight from the box.



In terms of performance, the regular Galaxy A6 is powered by an
Exynos 7870 processor, paired with two memory variants of 3GB RAM plus 32GB storage or 4GB RAM plus 64GB storage, depending on the market. Samsung Galaxy A6+ is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 CPU, and similar memory configurations – 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB.
