The new service suggests streams based on who individual users follow, and highlights content chosen by Facebook. PUBG, Fortnite, and Mobile Legends are among the popular games currently available on the Fb.gg landing page. In a short period of time, this new gaming hub has started attracting a large number of audience and users, with almost 3,000 people streaming Fortnite for an audience of over 200,000 to watch.

Along with this new streaming platform, Facebook also launched its gaming creator pilot programme introduced earlier this year. It is designed to attract more video game streamers to the website.

FB.gg will be rivaling other popular streaming hubs like Twitch and Mixer for more users, and its success now depends on the kind of features available and new ones added.
