The very well-anticipated Lenovo Z5 smartphone has finally been launched. Before now, the company had reported that the phone will have the “highest ever” screen-to-body ratio and complete bezel-less display, but it eventually didn't live to that expectation.
The official specs of Lenovo Z5 includes a large 6.2-inch Full HD+ display at 19:9 aspect ratio, with 90% screen-to-body ratio and a notch on top. It has a glass back, with 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass protection, as well as anti-fingerprint coating and 6 Series aluminum metal frame.
For image duties, the phone features a dual camera setup of 16 MP + 8 MP on the rear, with AI capabilities which is currently trending. A fingerprint scanner is placed on the back for unlocking the Lenovo Z5. For selfies and video chat, there is a an 8 MP sensor housed in the cutout of the display, and also equipped with artificially intelligent, bringing machine learning of the face shape.
In terms of performance, Lenovo Z5 comes with 6GB RAM and two storage vatiants of 64GB / 128GB, with up to 256GB microSD card support. Under the hood is an Octa-core Snapdragon 636 chipset which reaches a speed of 1.8GHz. The handset runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with ZUI 3.9 on top, and is powered with with 3,300 mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging through a USB-C port.
Although, we're a bit disappointed that Lenovo didn't give what they promised, but the impressive specifications of the Z5 will also calm us down.
