We have all sent unintentional friend requests to random people, and they are still pending as of this writing. This is because you sent friend requests to people who do not know you, which is why they took so long to accept your request.
I will demonstrate a straightforward method that you can use to cancel all pending Facebook friend requests in this post. The steps are very similar to those in Facebook for PC and mobile devices. Please follow along with me.
HOW TO CANCEL SENT FRIEND REQUEST ON FACEBOOK
On a mobile device, go to
- https://facebook.com/friends/requests/?fcref=none&outgoing=1
- Tap the V-shaped icon, and then tap View Sent Requests
- A page with the list of all your sent requests will appear
- Go to the request you want to cancel and select Cancel.
That is it. The person whose friend request was canceled will not receive a notification of the cancellation and will not be informed that the request was canceled.
