How To Restore Chats Backup 2023 Latest GBWhatsapp v16.20 2.22.2.73 Download

Hello guys, compliments of season. Hope you all are staying safe. I'll be sharing with you a new version of GBWhatsapp PRO app and also guide you through on how you can successfully move or restore your backup from the original Whatsapp to GBWhatsapp without any issues.

GBWhatsapp v16.20 (2.22.2.73) is now available for everyone to install. GBWhatsapp has been our favorite choice over the original Whatsapp application because of its customizable features and beautiful UI. 

In this post, I'll teach you how to install GBWhatsapp application and successfully move or restore your old chats backup from the Original Whatsapp to GBWhatsapp without any problem. Kindly follow the steps below without skipping any line. 

HOW TO RESTORE CHATS BACKUP FROM ANY WHATSAPP TO GBWHATSAPP

Kindly note that if you don't follow my steps carefully, the chat backup will not restore or you might end up losing your chat backup permanently. 

Android OS has had alot of changes and app data folders have been remodified, making it a little bit complicated moving some app data folder. 

But don't worry about anything as I have covered everything in this post. GB WhatsApp unable to restore backup issues has been fixed with my tutorial and how you can update WhatsApp to GB WhatsApp.

1. First of all, download GBWhatsapp PRO v16.20 (2.22.2.73) from THIS LINK
2. After installing GBWhatsapp, please don't open it yet
3. Now, goto your regular Whatsapp application and perform a Chat Backup 
4. After successful chat backup, kindly minimize the app
5. The chat backup will then be saved in your phone's internal storage > Android > Media > com.whatsapp folder. (Make sure you don't Uninstall your Whatsapp application until you are done else all your chat backup will be permanently erased)
6. Now open com.whatsapp folder and rename any folder that has Whatsapp in it to GBWhatsapp. All you need to do is to add GB before WhatsApp. For instance, WhatsApp Audo folder will look like GBWhatsApp Audio. That's all.
7. Also goto com.whatsapp folder > Media > then rename all the folder inside there and add GB before WhatsApp. NOTE that it's case sensitive.
8. Lastly, rename com.whatsapp folder to com.gbwhatsapp
9. When you are done, open com.gbwhatsapp folder and copy (not move) only the GBWhatsApp folder and paste it inside your internal storage. (Don't paste it inside another folder)
10. Accept their terms and conditions, and also input your phone number for verification. 
11. On the next screen, a Chat Backup / Restore page will pop-up. Kindly proceed to Restore your old chats (if it doesn't show up, then you didn't follow my instructions properly or you missed some steps)
12. After a successful Backup restore, you can then proceed to customize your GBWhatsapp to your taste.
