Google Pixel Fold Will Have A Very Great Battery

2023 could be the right year for the official announcement of the Mountain View company’s first folding smartphone.

In recent days we have been talking more and more often about foldable smartphones, perhaps because this could really be the right year for their consecration, at least in terms of the number of models presented. In recent years Samsung has been the undisputed queen in the folding sector and, most likely, will continue to be so this year too. However, the competition starts to get fiercer, and soon even Google could release its Pixel Fold, which as the name suggests, will rival the future Galaxy Z Fold 5.

In reality, rumors have already been heard about a foldable device from Google under development for several years and, perhaps, this will be the right year for its presentation. Today, thanks to a reliable source, let’s find out what the weight of the device will be and the battery integrated inside it. According to a report by 9to5Google, the future Pixel Fold will feature a battery with a capacity of no less than 5,000mAh, larger than the average of other foldable phones on the market. For example, Galaxy Z Fold 4 has a 4,400mAh battery. However, this will also mean heavier than Samsung’s Fold, which weighs in at around 263 grams.

In terms of dimensions, when unfolded, the device should be larger than the OPPO Find N2, but it will be wider and shorter than the Galaxy Z Fold 4. The internal display, in fact, should have an aspect ratio of 4:3 or at most 5:4. As for the technical data sheet, however, for the moment the details are rather scarce. However, the Google Tensor 2 chip should be present to move the device, the same seen on board the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro.
