Since the last two months, we have seen many devices being crowned with the golden crown of Marshmallow and Galaxy S5
is now among the prestigious members of Android M.
Though this update is currently rolling out for a particular Galaxy S5 variant with the model number SM-
G900L and this variant is
understood to operate on a
South Korean carrier but we are expecting this update to spread to all variants of galaxy S5 in no time.
Android 6.0.1 marshmallow
update comes with interesting stuffs and overall system bug fixes and improvements which
includes better optimization on phone battery life, better RAM
management, speed improvement, system stability and more bug fixes. Like I earlier said, the update could be available just before next month's end for all variant of Galaxy S5.

However, if you are using
Samsung Galaxy S5 and haven't gotten the update yet, kindly check whether the update has already been pushed to your device by navigating to your phone settings menu.
To do this, go to your phone's settings menu >
about > wireless updates and confirm if the update has been made available for your Samsung Galaxy S5 device for upgrading to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.
