Everyday, Whatsapp brings you new features. Now users can share any file types using Whatsapp messenger, which is one of the most anticipated features of all time.
Though a lot of users have previously been sharing files on whatsapp, but not all formats are officially supported (like apk), except with the help of third-party apps. But the good news is the situation might change sooner rather than later.
This newly upgraded file sharing feature will allow you to send any type of files to your WhatsApp contact. However, users are permitted to share a maximum file size of 100MB (Android), 128MB (iOS) or 64MB (desktop).
This file share feature is currently been rolled out to some Whatsapp BETA users. Hopefully, with time, it will be available for all Android, iOS and Windows phone whatsapp users.
